Delicious Turkish kebab.
Served with parsley, onion, lemon. Flatbread and yoghurt. Traditionally made with lamb, but I prefer beef.
Ingredients:
500g minced beef
1 pepper
1 bunch mint and coriander
1 onion
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp pepper paste
¼ cup soaked breadcrumbs
Salt to taste
Directions:
Mince the garlic, onions and red pepper. Fry for a few minutes.
Put in a bowl and combine with the rest of the ingredients.
Add salt, sumac, pepper.
Shape and slide onto skewers.
Cook on grill for a few minutes on each side.
Serve on bread, with yoghurt, parsley and raw onions.
